GOD'S STORY
AT KANGAROO POINT UNITING CHURCH
Vision:
KPUC will continue to grow as a centre of vibrant worship, an authentic and welcoming community, and a launching pad for local and overseas mission.
Our mission is to be “actively changing your world through knowing Jesus, growing in
Christ and sowing his love.”
-
We believe that God reigns sovereignly over all creation and that through Jesus Christ we can have an intimate relationship with God, and through the empowering, creative and orchestrating work of the Holy Spirit we work to see God’s kingdom here in his world.
-
Because we are a city church our heart is for those who are on the edges or lost in this city of Brisbane who need to experience God’s love.
-
We are from diverse cultures and we want to reach out to as many nations in mission to see people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
-
We are not perfect in any way but we are a people redeemed and reconciled by Christ to be agents of God’s reconciliation, righteousness and justice in our broken world especially here in Brisbane.
MISSION
As a church, we aim to respond to the call of Jesus to "go to all the world and make disciples..." Launching mission both locally and globally is an integral movement and call to action in the life of the church in order to live out the vision and mission God has placed upon us.

STREETZ MINISTRY
Streetz Ministry is living out God’s favour for the vulnerable and outcasts in our city. As a church we believe we play a vital role in extending God's love to those in need and do so in the preparation and serving of meals in the heart of the city

OVERSEAS MISSION
As a multi-cultured church, we see and hear God's call to serve in countries overseas as well as supporting globally from home. At times this has been to our own home countries, mainly being the pacific islands as well as Indonesia and Kenya.

GIVING
If you would like to support in any way, please let us know by getting in touch with us.
NEXT STEPS
SALVATION
To be saved is to surrender to God and His plan and calling for our lives. It is leaving our past lives and turning to Jesus, receiving from Him forgiveness of our sins and new life in Him.
Romans 10:9 says that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
